Educational Qualification
You must hold an MBBS degree or a recognized Provisional Pass Certificate, as per the NMC Act, 2019, and the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023. You’ll also need a permanent or provisional registration certificate for your MBBS qualification from the NMC, former MCI, or a State Medical Council. A crucial requirement is completing a one-year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship by August 15th, 2025.
If you’re a foreign medical graduate, you must have successfully passed the FMGE Screening Test, be registered with the NMC/State Medical Council, and complete your internship by the same August 15th, 2025 deadline.
