Selection Process
Constable selection involves a written test and a physical efficiency test (PET). You need at least 30 out of 100 marks in the written exam to qualify for the PET. Note that the written exam score won’t contribute to the final merit list, which will be based solely on your performance in the PET events: running, shot put, and long jump.
The selection process for Sub-Inspector (Prohibition) consists of three stages: a preliminary written exam, a main written exam, and a physical fitness test. The preliminary exam contains 100 questions worth 200 marks, and a minimum score of 30% is required to qualify for the main exam. The main exam has two papers with negative marking. Only candidates who pass both written exams will be eligible for the physical fitness test. The final merit list will be determined by performance in the main exam and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
